Well Saturday night was awesome!!! Over 30 people, really lovely crowd and a great atmosphere. It was fantastic, at points we even had people spontaneously applauding!!
Sunday we only had 7 people in. They say 7 is a lucky number ….they lied.
Technically the show was better and they laughed in all the right places, but just not as loud as I would have liked!
So there’s only 1 thing for it I’m going to have to be a better flyerer. It’s crazy at Edinburgh, I go out with a 100 of my flyers and I come back with 300 flyers for other shows. The Festival must be destroying a patch of rainforest the size of Edinburgh every hour!!
I’ve had a sore throat, but so far manged to avoid swine flu. Unfortunately my director Phil Whelans has had it, so he hasn’t been able to come to my show, but I have been sending him to see all the other shows that start the same time as mine…
I did a little preview on Saturday as part of Arthur Fowler’s Allotment weekly show run by the lovely Anthea Neagle and the lady from Radio 4 “You & Yours” said I had some “great observations” I think that technically is a 4 star review – what do you guys think?
